  • Mt. Fuji

Japan 2002

0 words

In 2002 I took a trip to Tokyo, to participate in an international karate tournament sponsored by the Tokyo Branch of the World Seido Karate Organization. It was an incredible experience, and one that I still continue to savor. Among the events that the sponsors arranged for the visiting karateka was a bus tour of Tokyo. One of the stops along the bus tour was the Temple at Asakusa, pictured here. After the tournament I took a bullet train to Shinfuji with a friend, hired a cab, and rode around looking for views of Mt. Fuji to photograph. These incidental photographs still bring back very fond memories for me.
